Vortrag am 01.03.2018: Romeu Monteiro - How I Stopped Hating and Started Supporting Israel

Romeu MonteiroRomeu Monteiro is an engineer and human rights activist based in Portugal. For a decade he has volunteered in support of LGBT youth and since 2012 he has also written and spoken up against anti-Semitism and in support of Israel. His viral opinion articles have been published in Portugal, Israel, and the USA. He has also been featured as a pro-Israel speaker in multiple universities, including Columbia University and University of California Los Angeles.

In this talk Romeu will tell us his story - a journey from believing in murderous libels to becoming fascinated with Israel, in his perspective as a human rights activist. A speech that will be rich in both objective arguments, data and research advice, as well as in personal testimony.
